On Tuesday Wives Welfare Association (BWWA) FTR HQ Jammu conducted lecture on Social media, Internet and Cyber security. The lectures were delivered by Anil Rajput, DC and Pappu Meena, AC at BWWA hall, Paloura camp Jammu to a large gathering of BSF families and their wards.
The BWWA endeavor has always been to educate and aware BSF families on social media related issues. Accordingly these lectures was planned to create awareness about safe use of internet and social media in present scenario. On this occasion Smt Rajni Jamwal, BWWA President, Frontier Jammu said that use of social media and internet are very common nowadays which can have both positive & negative impact. Our ladies need to keep themselves alert of nuisances on its use to prevent them from falling victim to online frauds and blackmails. Cyber security has also become major threat in the age of internet. Therefore awareness and alertness is necessary for all the users, so that privacy is not compromised and to minimize the cyber frauds.
A total of 60 BWWA ladies attended the lectures and lauded the valuable knowledge provided during these lectures.
