Jammu/ Srinagar, June 3: Chief Election Commissioner of India Rajiv Kumar on Monday saluted voters of J&K for turning out in large numbers in the parliamentary elections, breaking 40-years record.
“ It has laid foundation for Assembly elections and we will hold these polls now.”
He reiterated J&K’s overall polling was 58.58 percent, while Valley recorded 51.05 percent.
