Jammu, April 09: A symposium competition was organized by Navya Srijan Sewa Sansthan at Jammu University for the upcoming 18th Lok Sabha elections across the country. EnVision 2029 – Your Vote in 2024 determines Nation @ 2029 was the topic of symposium in which dozen of students participated to present their views on the topic.
The program began with lightning of lamp followed by brief introduction on the theme of program which was given by Deepak Gupta Volunteer of the NGO. Dr. Ganesh Malhotra and Sh. Shashikant Lakhanpal were the Judges of the competition.
Retd. IAS Sh. Pramod Jain, Famous RJ Shwetima Jamwal and Sr. Journalist Syed Junaid Hashmi were the Chief Guest, Guest of Honor and Program President respectively. While addressing the gathering of dozens of students and scholars Sh. Jain highlighted the opportunities that were available in pretext of J&K in next 5 years for boosting development of J&K by developing educational tourism, Development of Entrepreneurship opportunities in J&k for the sectors for which Raw Material and required infrastructure was already available in J&K. Junaid said that it is only due to the visionary leaders of our country we have managed to come so far after 75 years of independence even when the britishers had left nothing for this nation but still we are the fastest growing economy today and due to the visionary leadership the country so far has been successful in coming together even stronger after numerous wars after independence. Shwetima highlighted on why it is important to vote and how to educate the general masses on the importance of voting for giving more strength to our democracy.
The program was coordinated by Pratham Thappa, Managed by Akarshit Sharma and Manav Seth, the stage proceedings were done by Anjali Sharma and a formal vote of thanks was given by Ramneek Sharma.
