Jammu, Nov, 19: Jammu Inspector General of Police (IGP) Bhim Sen Tuti on Wednesday visited the border district of Poonch to assess the security situation, officials said.
After the November 10 Delhi blast that killed 15 people, security and surveillance have been intensified in the district.
During his visit, the IGP held a meeting with senior officials and was updated on the current security arrangements. He reviewed the preparedness of forces and stressed the need for enhanced surveillance and better coordination among agencies.
