Srinagar, June 30: Police on Sunday said that they arrested malitant associate in Machipora Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
A police officer told said that police along with Army at During naka checking, one white coloured Maruti swift bearing registration No. JK01AK-4452 coming from Bomai towards Machipora was intercepted and was signaled to stop but the driver of the vehicle tried to flee from the spot but was apprehended tactfully by the alert naka party.
During the questioning he disclosed his identity as Waheed ul Zahoor S/O Zahoor ul Rahim R/O Hadipora, Rafiabad A/P Mustafabad HMT Srinagar.
During the search, following arms/ammunition and other Incriminating material were recovered from the vehicle.
