Jammu, April 24: National Investigation Agency (NIA) court has issued an order to attach the property of Hizbul Mujahiddin Chief Syed Salahuddin’s son Syed Ahmed Shakeel at Ram Bagh, Srinagar.
This property has been attached in a case registered with NIA RC-06/2011/NIA/DLI under UAPA.
The order reads, ” This is to inform everyone that immovable property Survey number 1917/1566, 67 and 68 situated at Revenue Estate, Nursing Garh, Mohalla Ram Bagh, Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, under the ownership of Syed Ahmed Shakeel (son of Syed Yusuf Shah @ Syed Salahuddi , a listed terrorist under UA(P) Act, 1967 and chief of Hizbul Mujahiddin), an accused in NIA case RC-06/2011/NIA/DLI, stands attached under subsection 33 (1) of the UAPA 1967 by the order of special NIA Court, New Delhi.
Syed Salahuddin is operating from Pakistani Occupied Kashmir and has been provoking youth of Jammu and Kashmir to join the ranks of Hizb and wage war against India.
Acting against his son, who is also an accused, NIA Court today ordered attachment of his property.
