Doda, May 9: In yet another accident in Doda district, one person died and four others were injured near Paryote area of Doda.
The vehicle Maruti Celerio bearing registration number JK06-1453 was on its way towards Satwas from Paryote when it met with an accident.
Giving details, police said that after receiving a report of an accident, a team from police post Pul Doda rushed to the spot and shifted all the passengers to GMC Doda.
One passenger Payal Devi, wife of Sandeep Singh died on the spot whereas four others were injured.
Those who got injured were identified as Sandeep Singh s/o Rattan Singh, a resident of Satwas, Santosha Devi w/o Vicky, a resident of Jammu, Arundeep Rakwal s/o Rajinder Singh, a resident of Satwas and Prayanshi Devi D/O Sandeep Singh a resident of Satwas.
