People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration will hold its meeting to analyse the all-party meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi last week on Tuesday at the residence of former chief minister Farooq Abdullah to declare its next plan of action .
This meeting is primarily meant to be a damage control exercise as the people in the Valley are disappointed with the grouping for its failure to draw anything concrete from the Centre , not even the bare minimum guarantee on the early return of statehood to Jammu and Kashmir . they are also angry that these leaders were unable to get any succor for the economically depressed people of the Valley who had been suffering due to continuing phases of
The PAGD sources told J K News Today that Farooq Abdullah has called all the leaders of the alliance to share with them the nature of the discussions at the APM; the issues raised and what all they were able to convince the Centre. The PAGD had hailed the meeting with PM as a welcome step and a much-awaited opening between Srinagar and Delhi.
The sources said that PAGD meeting will start at 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
