Pakistan’s Punjab government has presented evidence to Election Commission of Pakistan about the alleged involvement of Imran Khan’s PTI’s in terrorism, particularly in reference to May 9 violence in major cities in the country.
The violent incidents started after the arrest of Imran Khan from Islamabad High Court. Though he was subsequently ordered to be released by the Supreme Court, but the violent protests left a scar on Pakistan. The army installations in Lahore and Rawalpindi were attacked and set afire.
The Punjab government in Pakistan has presented some evidence, Pakistani media reported, to ECP .
The army and PTI are in a face off situation. That has created a peculiar situation in Pakistan.
