Jammu,  March 18:

Pakistan ‘s political drama is becoming uglier by day , as the ruling  PTI supporters barged into PPP’s Sindh House where several lawmakers from the ruling party were lodged to save themselves from the government ahead of the no-confidence motion .  The Imran Khan government is faced with a no-confidence motion and that is likely to be taken up in the National Assembly of Pakistan by this month-end.

On Friday evening, PTI supporters raising slogans  gate crashed Pakistan People’s Party’s  Sindh house in  Islamabad  to harass the dissident lawmakers  lodged in the building in a highly secured zone of the Pakistani capital .  This indicates that PM Imran Khan and his ministers , who have  used threatening language against the  opposition , have been frustrated by the increased support of the People’s Democratic Movement – the umbrella organization of the opposition parties in which PPP, PML-N and other groups operate.

Pakistani media is broadcasting TV footages  showing the ruling party supporters  barging into the Sindh House  and raised slogans  against the group of estranged lawmakers who have announced to vote against their party  line in the no-trust motion tabled against Prime Minister  Imran Khan in the National Assembly.

The development came a day after several PTI lawmakers revealed that they had sought refuge in the Sindh House, fearing the incumbent government action as they have decided to vote on the no-trust move “according to their conscience”.

MNA Raja Riaz of the disgruntled faction, known as the Jahangir Tareen group, claimed that as many as 24 PTI MNAs, including women lawmakers, were present at the facility.

The annoyed PTI workers can be seen in the video scaling the wall of the Sindh House while some of them smashed the door of the building by kicking down it.

The angry workers were led by PTI MPAs Faheem Khan and Ataullah from Karachi, according to Express News.
