Samba, March 18 : Police under the supervision of SSP Samba Benam Tosh organised free medical camp at border village Rangoor in Ramgarh sector of Samba district where a large number of people / patients hailing from border villages got specialized treatment, check-up, counseling, medicines, daily-use medical equipments free of cost and ayushman cards preparation facility at their doorsteps.

Twelve renowned doctors of different streams including lady doctors provided services at the free medical camp organized by police with the assistance of medical department.

SSP Samba Benam Tosh, CMO Samba Vidhi Bhatiyal, DDC member Anita Choudhary, DDC member Sarvjit Singh, Sarpanch Kali Dass, popular social activist Shiv Choudhary, Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary, SDPO Vijaypur Priyanka Kumari, Tehsildar Ramgarh Farooq Ahmad, BMO Ramgarh Lakhvinder Singh, SHO P/S Ramgarh Sudesh Kumar, Lambardars and prominent citizens were present who spoke on the occasion.

In his address , Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that free medical camp has been organized by J&K police under CAP with the assistance of medical department at border village for the welfare of patients and check-up of people belonging to border villages at their doorsteps. He further told that police is going to organise several other sports activities, anti drugs awareness seminars, debates and symposium under CAP at different places in Samba district. On behalf of J&K Police, SSP Samba thanked medical department, especially CMO Samba and doctors team for extending fullest possible assistance to Police in organising free medical camp at border village and wished speedy recovery to the patients suffering from different ailments.
