Udhampur, October: 12 On the occasion of World Sight Day, 12th Oct. 2023 a rally was organized by KLSM Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital Udhampur with different Schools i.e. BrahmRishi Bawra Shanti Vidya Peeth Udhampur, Little Angels High School, Maharaja Hari Singh Dav Public Higher Secondary School Udhampur, Govt. Model Higher Secondary School (Boys) Udhampur, Happy Model Higher Secondary School Udhampur. NITL Higher Secondary School, Udhampur, Rotary Club Members, staff members of VISION 2020, Orbis India, AIMS Delhi, Staff of Rotary Eye hospital. The rally was flagged off by Sh Mohd Anwar-ul-Haq (Addl. SP Udhampur) from Mini Stadium (Town Hall) and enrouting police station, Adarsh Colony, Dhar Road and concluded at KLSM Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital, Udhampur. All the students participating in the rally were given water,Juice and refreshment to motivate the spirit of participation.
After the conclusion of the rally, a seminar was conducted at Rotary Eye hospital udhampur in which Ms Saloni Rai, Deputy Commissioner Udhampur was the Chief Guest and Dr Mrityunjay Gupta, Principal, Govt. Medical College Udhampur was Guest of Honur, along with Sh Mohd anwar ul-Haq Addl SP Udhampur. In which appreciation certificates along with cash prizes were given to the best performing student in the essay competition, symposium and painting on the World Sight Day 2023 theme love your eyes. All the dignitaries attending the function were appreciated by honouring them with mementos, Gifts and certificates.
