Banihal, 22 March: In a significant political development, several prominent workers from Congress and PDP today joined the Jammu & Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) in Banihal, further strengthening the party’s grassroots base in the constituency.

The joining programme was held in the presence of MLA Banihal, Sajjad Shaheen, who warmly welcomed the new entrants by garlanding them and formally inducting them into the party fold.
Among the notable new entrants were Molvi Gulam Mohammad ‘Gammi’ from Varnhal and Ghulam Nabi, former Panch, who along with a large number of their supporters joined JKNC. Their induction reflects the growing public confidence in the policies and vision of the National Conference.
Welcoming the new members, Sajjad Shaheen stated that their decision to join JKNC is a testament to the party’s people-centric agenda and its unwavering commitment to addressing public issues at the grassroots level.
