Farooq directs for gearing up for upcoming Assembly polls

SRINAGAR: Sunil Verma, District President of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) , Udhampur, along with Akash Verma, Youth NC leader, met with Dr. Farooq Abdullah in Jammu at his residence in Srinagar and congratulated him on the resounding victory of the National Conference in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls.
During the meeting, Sunil Verma briefed Dr. Abdullah on the tireless efforts and dedication displayed by the party workers throughout the election campaign. He highlighted the effective facilitation of voters by the team, which played a crucial role in securing the significant win.
Dr. Farooq Abdullah expressed his heartfelt appreciation for the hard work and commitment shown by Sunil Verma and his team. He commended their dedication and strategic efforts, which significantly contributed to the party’s success in the Lok Sabha elections.
Looking ahead, Dr. Abdullah asked the District President to prepare for the upcoming Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized the importance of establishing Booth Committees to ensure a robust organizational framework at the grassroots level.
