In a major success by joint effort of Security Forces and JKP, nefarious designs of inimical elements to disrupt peace and tranquility in Poonch region were foiled yet again. Based on a specific input that terrorists were planning to target Security Forces on NH 144A, a well coordinated joint operation was launched by local Rashtriya Rifles Battalion and JKP. Relentless development of intelligence by both the agencies led to recovery of cache of arms comprising two Pistols and ammunition in general Area of Sauni forest, Bafliaz. The Security Forces and JKP have yet again proved their mettle in fight against terrorism and their commitment towards ensuring maintaining of stability in the region. The Indian Army and JKP in Poonch have earlier recovered 19 Hand Grenades in the same region.
