The Kashmir Files, a film on the flight of Kashmiri Pandits in 1990 , has joined  Rs. 100 crore plus club , as its director Vivek Agnihotri  disclosed on his Instagram

The film  , released on March 11 , has been doing good business at the box office , after the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi  complimented the producers of the movie in bringing out the truth of Kashmir that was lying buried for decades,

The film, which is based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley in the 1990s, features Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi in lead roles.

Furthermore, the Central government has accorded the ‘Y’ category security cover to film director Vivek Agnihotri with CRPF cover pan India.
