We organised the Karva Chauth festivities to add excitement to the celebrations through various fun-filled activities which the people thoroughly enjoyed. The large turn-out shows that the public appreciates our efforts and we look forward to coming up with more such people-centric initiatives in the future as well.”  The activity was in line with Vodafone’s philosophy of engaging and connecting with the community beyond business, thus reaffirming its credentials as a people-centric organisation.

As Mehndi is an integral part of ‘Karva Chauth’, Vodafone had set up free Mehndi stall where the ladies and young girls could get beautiful Mehndi designs/patterns drawn on their hands for free. Various fun-filled activities like Lucky draw, Photo booth, Hi-tea and much more were organised by Vodafone as part of the Karva Chauth festivities to ensure that even the spouses of the women participating in these celebrations had a great time.

A fun-filled and rollicking atmosphere was created at the event by the anchors who had been invited specially by Vodafone to up the ante of the ‘Karva Chauth’ celebrations. There were live beats of dhol and live music which energized the atmosphere and weaved a melodious musical charm over the celebrations.

Vodafone put in a great effort to ensure that a large number of people got a chance to enjoy the Karva Chauth celebrations and to make Jammu residents aware that the celebrations were open to all and not limited to Vodafone customers only as it wanted to share happiness with the entire populace of the region. It used a sound mix of different communication tools like print, outdoor, radio and field promotion to ensure that maximum people were aware of the celebrations.
