Agitating for over two months for fulfilling their demands, hundreds of Women Anganwari workers today blocked every busiest Dogra Chowk in Jammu City.
The protesting women workers of Anganwari have demanded enhancement in their honorarium and also seniority lists too.
Number of times these anganwari workers attempted to march towards civil secretariat, but police foiled the same. Lot of times these workers faced wrath of the forces and were cane charged.
Today once again the agitating workers assembled at exhibition ground and then demonstrated at Dogra Chowk after blocking the traffic.
