Suspected militants have snatched one AK-47 rifle and about 90 bullets from constable Dilip Singh, who is posted as PSO of Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar.
The areas has been cordoned off and police has started crackdown at suspicious places.
The incident took place at around 10pm at Dilip Singh’s residence, when some suspected militants snatched weapon of constable on gun point.
“I received a call from my PSO that some people have snatched his rifle and bullet rounds on gun point. The area has been cordoned off and crackdown has been started at suspicious areas,” said Angrez Singh Rana, DC Kishtwar.
