Legendary singer Mohammed Rafi’s son Shahid Rafi demanded an unconditional apology from Karan Johar for insulting his late father in his latest film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.
In the movie, actress Anushka Sharma says: “Mohammed Rafi gaate nahi, rote the (Mohammed Rafi used to cry, not sing).
Shahid has termed this as an “ insult to my father whose songs are still sung with love by many in this country and abroad,” he told media.
“This is so insulting. I am ashamed of Karan Johar. I didn’t expect this from him at all. My dad has sung songs for Karan’s father (Yash Johar) and this is what he has done now. I haven’t seen the film yet.
