Jammu, December 27: Chowdhary Zafar Ali, has today filed his resignation from the post of Vice Chairman of State Advisory Board for the Development of Gujjars Bakarwal , to chief Minster Mehbooba Mufti.
Zafar has mentioned in his resignation letter that he has been holding this position for last three years, without any power.
“People come to me with the hopes to get their genuine demands addressed but I have to cut a sorry figure as I have no power vested in the chair,” Zafar mentioned in the letter No.Ps/HVC/GB/2017/408, Dated December 27, 2017.
He also mentioned that the plan for tribal community is also decided without his consultation and this chair is ignored while preparing developmental plan under SCA to TSP at every level.
