Udhampur, Sep, 03: A 4-year-old girl was killed after she was taken away by a leopard in Narore area of udhampur on Saturday evening. The incident unfolded between 7-8pm, sending shockwaves through the community.
According to ganesh kumar father of girl “between 7-7:30 pm, leopard took away his girl kritika when she has gone outside to throw water. He added that information was given to wild life deptt who reached the spot and launched search operation.He added they later recovered her mauled body two kilometres away from her house .
He added that number of such incidents early took place in which sheeps and other animals were killed by leopard. We are in shocking state and demand that steps should be taken to catch leopard so that no such incident be repeated in future.
