Srinagar , May 8:
a communication has come to light in which Srinagar MP and former Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah has asked the government to release his Member Parliament Local Arra Development fund to upgrade health facilities to fight Covid-19.
In a letter to Deputy Commissioner , Srinagar, Farooq has asked him to release Rs 140 crore to various health institutions in Srinagar to combat Covid as the cases for the deadly disease are on rise.
Srinagar district has been reporting highest number of cases for the past few days .
