JAMMU, DECEMBER 09, 2022: Apni Party today celebrated the victory of Party candidate Nazah Begum who has won as DDC from Hajin-A (Bandipora) constituency defeating four rival political parties candidates in the election.
Led by Apni Party State General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya, the Apni Party leaders accompanied by Provincial President Jammu, S. Manjit Singh assembled outside the Party office in Gandhi Nagar and they performed dance, busted crackers and distributed sweets among the people.
“It is a pleasure for Apni Party that the candidate of the Party for DDC elections for Hanji-A – Bandipora has been elected with a large majority of votes and this indicates that the Apni Party has strengthened itself at the grass root level,” said Vijay Bakaya while addressing the Party leaders.
Bakaya said that “As a Party which needs to be supported so that the people of J&K can move in the right direction and through result oriented policies of Apni Party and get rid of the politics of false promises and false dreams.”
He further said that “Apni Party celebrated the victory of the DDC candidate because it has now grown into a very viable alternative to the well established parties in J&K.”
Meanwhile, Provincial President, S. Manjit Singh said that the victory of DDC candidate has overwhelmed the Party cadre in entire Jammu and Kashmir and it has boosted the morale of the Party.
“The Party’s policies and agenda has attracted the people which focus on equitable development, protection of the rights of the people, natural resources, employment, welfare schemes, and relief with regard to the electricity usage i.e., 500 units free electricity during summers in Jammu and during winters in Kashmir, where as 300 units of free electricity during winters in Jammu and during summers in Kashmir, enhancement up to Rs 5000 widow pension, four cooking gas cylinders free of cost under Ujjawala in a year etc.” he said.
He further congratulated the Party leadership for infusing faith and trust among the people and the cadre with its positive role which has proven that Apni Party has a major role to play in the upcoming Assembly Elections. Many leaders from different wings participated in the celebrations.
