‘Dil Maange More’ a Short Film Festival jointly organised by Indian Army’s Northern Command and Innovations India with an objective to empower youth of J&K and Ladakh concluded on a high note with the winners being awarded by Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi, GOC-in-C, Northern Command and Mrs Sunita Dwivedi, Regional President AWWA, Northern Command on 16th December 2022.

The month long Festival formulated by internationally acclaimed Festival Curator Captain Rahul Bali was an initiative to empower the Youth of J&K and Ladakh in line with the national vision reiterating the importance of activities towards NATION BUILDING. The Indian Army aims to contribute to Nation Building through outreach, training and exposure of young people through the Short Film Making Festival as part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav and VIJAY DIWAS 2022 celebrations.

The festival saw active participation by a number of renowned actors and acclaimed filmmakers from Bollywood like Imtiaz Ali, Rahul Mittra, Daisy Shah, Umesh Shukla, Sara Khan, Mir Sarwar, Rahat Kazmi and Tariq Khan. A number of Interactive Workshops & Masterclasses were conducted for the youth in far flung areas across of J&K and Ladakh during last one month, both in online and offline modes in order to upgrade their skills in filmmaking and help the budding filmmakers to hone their creative skills.
