PDP president and former chief minister Mehbooba Mufti will be joining former Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and she described it as her “ duty to stand with someone who jhas the courage to challenge fascist forces.”
Mehbooba revealed her plans to join the yatra , after she was formally invited to join Rahul Gandhi’s “ Bharat Jodo Yatra” in Kashmir today . She emphasized : “ Will be joining him in his march towards a better India”
Mehbooba is the second leader of Jammu and Kashmir after National Conference president Farooq Abdullah declared that he would be receiving the yatra of the young leader at Lakhanpur , gateway of Jammu and Kashmir , in the third week of January . Farooq had declared that he is supporting the yatra because he believed that Rahul was working to bridge the gaps that have erupted in society because of what he called “ politics of hate.”
