Doda, February 10: The district administration Doda has asked Non Government Organisations (NGOs), trusts and social organisations in the district to furnish their details within three details.
These organisations have also been told to provide details of funding being received by them.
In an order issued by the district administration, these NGOs, trusts and social organisations have been ordered to furnish name of their organisation, name of the head of the organisation, details of members associated with the, details of assets owned by them, source of funding, type of activities being performed by them and lastly whether their NGO, trust and social organisation is registered or not.
In Doda district many NGOs are performing social activities and most of them are registered as well. As far as trusts are concerned, almost all of them are registered but when it comes to social organisations, there is ambiguity about the order of the district administration.
There are many such social organisations which are working in villages as well as in urban areas and even in small pockets based on their reach. They collect funds within the society has perform small activities within their social set up.
