Jammu, April 13: India has rebuffed all the objections raised by Pakistan to hosting of G 20 events in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh , saying that it was natural for the country to host these events in the two union territories.
In reply to a question on the objections raised by Pakistan on the hosting of G 20 Working Group meetings in Srinagar, Kashmir, and Leh, Ladakh, on tourism and youth, the spokesperson Arindam Bagchi told a media briefing on Thursday, that , :”these G20 events , meetings are being held across India in , in every region of India.
“ Holding of such meetings in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh is very natural as they because we have always considered them integral part of India.”
Pakistan had questioned and criticized India for hosting G20 meetings in Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh as against the spirit of the UN resolutions on Kashmir . it also repeated its time-worn-out cliché that “ Jammu and Kashmir is a disputed territory.”
But Pakistan , facing multiple crises of its own which are taking apart the nation , is seeking time and space to stir headwinds for India on Kashmir, despite knowing that the international community has long ceased to lend its ears to the words of Pakistan on India and , in particular Jammu and Kashmir
