Doda, June 6: Hundreds of people thronged to get registered themselves for the Prime Minister’s Awaas Yojna Plus (PMAY+) for the year 2023-24 in block Marmat of Doda district.
The registration for the eligible residents of block Marmat was opened yesterday and it will be open till June 10, 2023.
The Block Development Officer (BDO) Marmat Yasir Hussain Wani opened this registration and asked people to avail this opportunity to get a house for them for which government has opened the registration.
Giving details, Wani said that block Marmat has got a new target of 791 houses under PMAY+ and registration for the same commenced on June 5 and will be open till June 10. “All the households enlisted in the Awaas+ Permanent Waiting List (PWL) are informed to participate in one-week camp at block headquarters Marmat and get themselves registered to avail the benefits under this scheme,” he said.
“Those who are interested will have to bring Aadhar card, bank credentials, MGNREGA job card, a copy of ration card, revenue extract of land and self attested declaration documents alongwith them,” Wani added.
Under this scheme government is providing 199550 new houses in Jammu and Kashmir and block Marmat has got a share of 791 houses.
