JK News Today
Light rainfall has been recorded across most parts of Jammu and Kashmir, with moderate showers at a few locations. The intensity has remained low, with precipitation generally below 4 mm in most areas of Kashmir. Kulgam and Anantnag districts have recorded even lesser amounts so far.
Given that, no significant rise in water levels is expected. However, as rainfall activity is likely to continue until tomorrow, only a minor increase (a few feet or lesser) will be observed. Since the current levels are already low, there is no threat at present.
The only point to watch remains Wular Lake, which is presently around 6 inches below the Flood Declaration Mark and 16 inches below the Danger Level.
