Srinagar, September 16: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has placed the services of three police officers at the disposal of the Union Territory of Ladakh on a deputation basis, with immediate effect.
According to Government the officers deputed include Mr. Faraz Hussain Shah, Dy.SP (SDPO Kangan), Mr. Adil Mushtaq Sheikh, Dy.SP (17th Bn. IR), and Mr. Vijay Singh Choudhary, Inspector (Security Wing, J&K).
The order specifies that the deputation will be for a period of two years or until the officers are recalled. Their lien and promotion prospects will continue to remain with the Home Department, J&K. Additionally, they will be entitled to any incentives that may be provided by the Union Territory of Ladakh during their tenure. The officers have been directed to report immediately to the Home Department, Ladakh, for further posting.
