Jammu, September 27: A team of the Legal Metrology Department, J&K, today visited Shree Toyota – a leading Toyota dealership in Jammu – to review the implementation of revised GST benefits for customers.
The team was led by Rajinder Singh Tara, Controller Legal Metrology, J&K, and accompanied by Manoj Prabhakar, Joint Controller, Legal Metrology, Jammu.
The delegation was warmly received by Mr. D.K. Batra, Director, Batra Group, and Mr. Manik Batra, Director, Batra Group, who briefed the officials about the dealership’s operations. They highlighted that Shree Toyota has been extending the GST benefits to customers following the revised rates effective September 22, 2025.
The Legal Metrology officials appreciated the professional approach of the dealership’s management and staff in ensuring transparency and customer-friendly practices.
Speaking on the occasion, Controller Tara underlined that the department is closely monitoring all business entities to ensure proper transfer of GST benefits to customers.
The visit reinforced the department’s commitment to protecting consumer interests and ensuring fair trade practices across the Union Territory.
