Shopian, Oct. 22: As part of its ongoing crackdown on narcotics, Jammu and Kashmir Police have attached a single-story house worth ₹15.44 lakh belonging to Mukhtar Ahmad Naikoo of Meemander, Shopian. The property was found to be acquired through proceeds of drug trafficking. Police said Naikoo has been involved in multiple NDPS cases, including FIRs 41/2016 and 27/2020. The attachment was carried out in the presence of officials and local witnesses, with police reaffirming their commitment to act firmly against drug-related offences.
