New Delhi: Rakesh Mahajan, State Vice President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu and Kashmir, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in New Delhi. The meeting witnessed detailed discussions on the current political situation in Jammu and Kashmir and future organisational strategies of the party.
During the interaction, Mahajan expressed his gratitude to the Union Home Minister for the confidence shown in him earlier when he was considered as a Rajya Sabha candidate. He thanked the central leadership for its continued guidance and support.
The leaders held an in-depth discussion on issues concerning the Pir Panjal region, including its political dynamics, grassroots challenges and organisational strengthening. The evolving political environment in Jammu and Kashmir and preparations for the coming political developments were also reviewed.
Mahajan briefed the Home Minister on the ongoing organisational activities of the BJP in the Union Territory and the party’s outreach programmes at the grassroots level. Strategies aimed at further strengthening the organisation and enhancing public connect were also discussed.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah appreciated the efforts of the party leadership in Jammu and Kashmir and reiterated the BJP’s commitment towards political stability, development and strong organisational presence in the region.
