Jammu, Jan 30: A Dogri patriotic song titled “Fauji Saade Sher Larde” was released here today with the objective of promoting Dogri language and culture and paying tribute to the brave Indian soldiers guarding the nation’s borders.
The song has been sung by Sham Sajan Rajput, who also co-directed the project along with M.M. Thakur. The lyrics have been penned by Dhaniram, reflecting strong themes of patriotism, sacrifice and respect for the armed forces.
The release programme was organised under the supervision of Sahil Mahajan, co Convener, sanskrit art andCultural Cell, who ensured smooth coordination and successful execution of the event.
The song was formally released by Rakesh Mahajan, State Vice President, Bharatiya Janata Party (Jammu & Kashmir). Mahajan, in his address, lauded the efforts of Sham Sajan Rajput, a resident of the Mahore area of Reasi district, for promoting regional culture and nationalism through meaningful artistic expression.
He said that such initiatives inspire the younger generation to stay away from drug abuse and other social evils and instead engage in constructive fields such as art, culture and nation-building. Mahajan added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s image is being strengthened globally and the youth must contribute positively to this national vision.
The song’s powerful line, “Fauji Saade Sher Larde,” highlights the courage and dedication of Indian soldiers and stands as a heartfelt tribute to the countless jawans who protect the country’s borders under challenging conditions.
The release of the Dogri patriotic song was described as a significant step towards preserving regional language and culture while fostering patriotism among the masses, especially the youth.
