Jammu, February 24: BJP Spokesperson and Convenor, International Affairs, Gaurav Gupta, lauded all security agencies involved in the massive anti-terror operation in Kishtwar conducted under Operation Trashi-1,where Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists were gunned down after a prolonged and relentless pursuit.
The joint operation, carried out by the Indian Army’s White Knight Corps, Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Central Reserve Police Force, along with other supporting intelligence and security units, tracked and engaged terrorists in the dense and challenging Chatroo forest belt. The nearly 326-day-long offensive culminated in the neutralisation of a seven-member Jaish terror group, including high-value commander Saifullah.
Calling it a “decisive and crushing strike against terrorism,” Gupta said the success reflects seamless coordination, unmatched bravery and iron determination of India’s security forces. “This is the united force of New India. This is the Indian Army’s might, the courage of J&K Police, and the unwavering resolve of the CRPF. Together, they are invincible,” he asserted.
Gupta particularly hailed the role of the J&K Police for their ground-level intelligence and operational support, and commended the CRPF for its steadfast presence and tactical backing in hostile terrain. “Our local police and central forces are fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with the Army. Their sacrifice and commitment ensure that peace prevails in Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
Emphasizing the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi,
Gupta stated that India’s zero-tolerance policy against terrorism is being implemented with full force. He also hailed Union Home Minister Amit Shah for steering a firm internal security framework and ensuring a ruthless crackdown on terror networks.
“Under the decisive leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the firm resolve of Home Minister Amit Shah, our forces have a clear mandate eliminate terror without compromise. There is zero tolerance for terrorism. Those who conspire against India will be hunted down and destroyed,” Gupta declared.
Reaffirming unwavering support for all security agencies, Gupta said the nation salutes the bravery, endurance and professionalism displayed during the 326-day mission. “When the Indian Army, J&K Police and CRPF move together with unity and purpose, terror networks collapse. This is New India — fearless, decisive and unstoppable.”
