Kulgam: Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the former Chief (Ameer) of Jamaat-e-Islami Jammu and Kashmir, Sheikh Ghulam Hassan, who passed away after a prolonged illness. Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari extended his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, expressing deep sympathy over the immense loss. He described the late Sheikh Ghulam Hassan as a widely respected figure whose passing has left a significant void, and he prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul as well as courage for the grieving family to bear this irreparable loss.
Following the directions of Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, a high-level delegation of the Apni Party visited the residence of the deceased at Tarigam village in Kulgam district.
The visiting leaders stood in unwavering solidarity with the bereaved family, specifically extending their deepest sympathies and condolences to the sons of the late leader.
During their visit, the delegation recalled the significant standing of the deceased, noting his prominence and dedication as a two-term head of the organization in the region.
The visiting delegation comprised prominent party leaders, including party General Secretary Rafi Ahmad Mir, Chief Coordinator Abdul Majeed Padder, Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir. They were joined by key local party functionaries, including District Vice President Lateef Ahmad Malik, Zonal President Abdul Hameed Dar, Constituency Incharge Kulgam Mohammad Aaqib, and others.
The leaders jointly offered Fateha for the departed soul and prayed that Almighty Allah grants him the highest place in Jannah while giving patience and strength to the entire family during this immense hour of grief.
