Urges devotees to pray for lasting peace and stability in Jammu and Kashmir

Srinagar, June 22: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari on Monday extended warm greetings to the people, especially the Kashmiri Pandit community, on the auspicious occasion of the annual Mela Kheer Bhawani, being observed today primarily at the revered Ragnya Devi Temple in Tulmulla, Ganderbal.
In his message, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhai said, “My heartfelt greetings to everyone, especially our Pandit brethren, on this auspicious occasion, which they celebrate with deep religious devotion and cultural fervour.”
“This festival is much more than a religious event; it is a symbol of Kashmir’s rich pluralistic ethos and centuries-old tradition of communal harmony. People from all communities have always participated in and celebrated this occasion with great enthusiasm and reverence,” he added.
Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari appealed to the devotees paying obeisance at the Tulmulla Temple and other revered shrines today to pray for lasting peace, prosperity, and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.
“As devotees gather in prayer on this auspicious day, I request them to pray for a brighter future marked by peace, progress, harmony, and well-being for all the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
