Discuss party matters; apprise party chief of pressing pubic issues and grievances

Srinagar, August 11: A delegation comprising Apni Party leaders and senior workers from the Gulabgarh constituency of Reasi district today met party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari at the party headquarters in Srinagar. The delegation was led by Zulfikar Qazmi.
According to a press release issued here, the delegation members thoroughly discussed the prevailing political scenario in the area, various party matters, and pressing public issues and grievances.
While apprising the party President of various local issues, they raised the concern that members of the local labour class are not being issued labour cards. They said that obtaining labour cards would enable construction workers to avail themselves of various benefits, including financial assistance, educational scholarships, and medical facilities.
They also highlighted the public demand for exploring and developing tourist destinations in the district, which, they said, would help create sustainable livelihood opportunities for the youth. They emphasised that Reasi district has immense potential for tourism development and called for greater efforts to tap this potential.
Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari gave a patient hearing to the visiting delegation, and several decisions were taken on the occasion regarding measures to address some important issues.
Besides party president, the prominent leaders who were present on the occasion, included party’s Additional General Secretary Hilal Shah, Chief Coordinator & District President Kulgam Abdul Majeed Paddar, Provincial President Kashmir Mohammad Ashraf Mir, Chief Spokesperson & State Secretary Muntazir Mohiudin, Coordinator Rajouri & Poonch Arun Kumar Sharma, District President Rajouri Syed Manzoor Bukhari, District Youth President Rajouri Irfan Anjum, Constituency In-charge Sonwari Haijan Imtiyaz Paray, Senior Leader Syed Zulfikar Qazmi, and others.
