Pays obeisance at the revered shrine of Sufi saint Lal Baba Sahib in Zakura

Srinagar, August 19: Several prominent political and social activists from the Zakura area on the outskirts of Srinagar today joined the Apni Party in the presence of party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari.
They joined the party during a meeting with the party president and other senior leaders in Zakura.
Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari warmly welcomed the new entrants into the party fold.
Among the prominent new entrants were NC senior workers Dr Owais Ahmed Bhat and Abdul Rehman Mir, both hailing from Syed Colony in Zakura.
Meanwhile, during his visit to Zakura, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, accompanied by senior party leaders, paid obeisance at the revered shrine of Sufi saint Hazrat Lal Baba Sahab Reshi.
On the occasion, they prayed for peace, prosperity and stability in Jammu and Kashmir.
The party leaders present on the occasion included General Secretary Rafi Ahmed Mir; Chief Spokesperson and State Secretary Muntazir Mohiuddin; Provincial Secretary Mohammad Saleem Lone; Provincial Organiser Secretary Yousuf Abdullah; Hazratbal Constituency In-charge Mohammad Sidiq Mir; Zonal President Rural Farooq Ahmad Magray; Senior Leader Abdul Hamid Dar; District Member Srinagar Farooq Din Sofi; Mohammad Subhan Mir; and others.
