Srinagar, August 24: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has urged the administration to put in place all necessary arrangements well in advance for the smooth and peaceful observance of the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), being observed on Wednesday.
In a statement, Apni Party President said, “As we prepare to observe the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), the administration must ensure that all necessary arrangements are put in place well in advance to prevent any inconvenience to devotees and the general public.”
He stressed that uninterrupted power supply and adequate availability of drinking water must be ensured throughout the occasion.
“Transport services should be adequate, safe, and hassle-free to facilitate the movement of devotees to revered shrines, mosques, and other congregational venues,” he said.
Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari also called for special attention to sanitation and cleanliness, particularly at places expected to witness large gatherings and congregational prayers. He urged the concerned authorities to make every possible effort to ensure that devotees are able to observe this revered occasion peacefully, comfortably, and with due reverence.
He expressed hope that all departments concerned would work in close coordination and remain fully prepared to address any requirement that may arise during the occasion.
