Inaugurates a designer jewellery store in the city

Srinagar, August 26: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari has urged the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to explore entrepreneurship and create their own livelihood opportunities.
He also called upon the government to provide all possible support and a conducive environment to help young people establish and sustain their businesses.
He was speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of ‘The Story,’ a contemporary jewellery store, in the Rainawari area of Srinagar.
Congratulating the owner of the establishment, Burhan Qadir Bhat, on the launch of the new venture, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said that he feels encouraged whenever he sees young people taking the initiative to start their own businesses and build livelihoods through their own efforts.
“Even if a business starts on a small scale, the initiative itself is commendable. It not only creates a source of livelihood for the entrepreneur but can also generate employment opportunities for others,” he said.
He said that Jammu and Kashmir has limited employment opportunities, therefore self-employment is important for the younger generation.
“Given the limited job opportunities available here, I have always encouraged our youth to think beyond seeking jobs and instead explore opportunities to create their own ventures.
At the same time, Apni Party president stressed that encouraging entrepreneurship cannot be the sole responsibility of young people.
He called upon the government to ensure a supportive ecosystem for aspiring entrepreneurs.
‘The Story’ is a modern retail establishment offering designer jewellery and other lifestyle and fashion products.
On the occasion, Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari was accompanied by several senior party colleagues, including party’s District President Srinagar and Constituency In-charge Central Shalteng Zaffar Habib, Provincial Youth President Kashmir Jibran Dar, Joint Secretary District Srinagar Khursheed Ahmad Makhdoomi, Mudasir Malik, Abrar Ahmed, Javaid Bangroo, and others.
