Udhampur, 11 September: The Jammu and Kashmir Judicial Employees Welfare Association (JEWA), Udhampur District, has warmly welcomed the appointment of Hon’ble Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati as the Chief Justice of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
In a statement issued today, Sh. Ranjit Parihar,former JEWA state vice president and and District President, JEWA Udhampur congratulated Hon’ble Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati on his appointment and expressed confidence that his leadership would further strengthen the justice delivery system in the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.
Parihar said that the appointment of Justice Bhati is a significant development for the judicial institution and expressed hope that under his able, visionary and dynamic leadership, the judiciary would continue to move towards greater efficiency, transparency, accessibility and accountability.
He expressed hope that during the tenure of Hon’ble Chief Justice Justice Pushpendra Singh Bhati, the genuine and long-pending issues of judicial employees would receive due consideration. These issues, he said, include adequate manpower, better working conditions, rationalisation of workload, career progression, timely promotions, welfare measures, training opportunities, modernisation of court establishments and other service-related matters.
He expressed confidence that the new Chief Justice would take a sympathetic and constructive view of the legitimate concerns of the employees and provide an appropriate platform for addressing their genuine grievances in accordance with rules and established norms.
He also assured the entire judicial fraternity that the Association would continue to extend its full cooperation to the Hon’ble High Court administration in every initiative aimed at improving the justice delivery system.
