Poonch, Sep 14, 2026: Director General of Police J&K Nalin Prabhat on Monday reviewed the ongoing anti-terror operations and overall security situation in Poonch district.
Officials told GNS that accompanied by Inspector General of Police Jammu Zone Tejinder Singh, the DGP held a detailed review of the operations currently underway in the district.
The top police brass was briefed about the latest developments, operational preparedness and coordination among different security agencies on ground.
The visit assumes significance in view of recent attempts at infiltration and movement of Pakistan based LeT terrorists in the Pir Panjal region.
