JAMMU, OCTOBER 12, 2026: Ms. Aayushi Sudan, an IAS officer of the 2017 batch, today assumed charge as Commissioner of the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and will also look after the work of Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jammu Smart City Limited (JSCL).
Prior to her new assignment, she was serving as Deputy Commissioner, Samba. In her new role, she will oversee the functioning of the Jammu Municipal Corporation and Jammu Smart City Limited, which are responsible for civic administration, urban infrastructure, sanitation, public amenities and smart city development in Jammu.
Her appointment comes at a time when coordinated efforts towards improving civic services, strengthening urban infrastructure and ensuring sustainable development remain key priorities for Jammu city.
