Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor is gearing up for the wedding of his daughter Sonam with Delhi-based businessman Anand Ahuja on May 8 and he has a few plans of his own. Reports suggest that Anil is preparing a special dance number to perform on during the celebrations.
Anil will likely dance to his hit song ‘My Name is Lakhan’ from his film, Ram Lakhan. Apparently, his friends Anupam Kher and Satish Kaushik, are going to join him on it.
A source close to the family told Filmfare, “Anil is ecstatic about his performance on Sonam and Anand’s sangeet. He will perform on two of his favourite numbers – Gallan Goodiyan from Dil Dhadakne Do and My Name is Lakhan from Ram Lakhan. It will be more fun because Satish Kaushik and Anupam Kher will also be joining Anil.”
Their families released a joint statement about their wedding. The statement read, “The Kapoor and Ahuja families take great joy and pride, in announcing the marriage of Sonam and Anand. The wedding will take place on the May 8 in Mumbai. Since it is an intimate affair, we request you to respect the family’s need for privacy. Thank you for all your blessings and love as we celebrate this special moment in our lives.”
