State Election Commissiner K K Sharma today announced schedule for first-ever District Development Council polls from November 28
The UT of J&K has 280 seats of DDC councillors.
Simultaneously, there would be polls for 12500 vacant seats in eight phases.
The results for DDC polls would be declared on December 22, while that of Panchats would be announced on the day of polling itself.
