Sahni extended full support to trust employees

The leaders of the Shiv Sena Bala Sahib Thackeray Jammu and Kashmir unit accused the Dharmarth trust for failure to preserve Dogra culture and heritage and extended full support to the demands of the Trust Employees Union.


In a press conference held at the party’s state office today, State President Manish Sahni appealed to the Lt Governor to bring all the temples of Jammu and Kashmir under one Board at par with the Shrine Board so that the proper care given to these temples and the people associated with them. He said that Jammu is City of Temples and it’s the responsibility of the government to maintain the glory of the Union Territory.


Sahni said that the trust was established by Maharaja Gulab Singh in 1846 with the objective of maintaining the temples of Jammu and Kashmir and preserving Dogra identity. Which has proved to be a complete failure in its cause. Sahni said that the condition of many Hindu temples in the Kashmir division is Pathetic condition
and some of the temples land has been captured illegally.


He said that except for a few major temples, the condition of all the temples are very pathetic condition.


He said that the Trust has never showed its concern towards the issues of its employees and Pujaris , who are associated for the last so many decades.


Due to hollow policies of the Trust, the employees and Pujaris are on roads and staging protests and demonstrations in support of their demands. On this occasion President Women Wing Meenakshi Chhibber, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, working President Ashwani Gupta, Women Vice President Sofia Sagu, Bhuri Singh Sanjeev Sudan, Geeta Rani, Dimple, Rajat Baloria, etc. were present on the occasion.
