Haji Sajjad Shaheen was today elected National Conference District President, Ramban unopposed.
The election by the delegates took place in the presence of the party Observers NC Provincial Secretary Jammu Pradeep Bali and Dilshad Malik Provincial Secretary Jammu.
While Dr. Chaman Lal Bhagat Ex-MLA, Delegate proposed the name of Haji Sajjad Shaheen for the slot of District President, Mohd Arif Mir Delegate seconded the candidature.
Bali, Dilshad Malik and other leaders greeted and congratulated Haji Shaheen on his unanimous election.
Prominent among those present on the occasion included Abid Magrey, Devi Ditta, Pyare Lal, Mohd Farooq Mir, Raja Arshad Ali Mir, Khushal Singh, Mohd Farooq Ahmed Sohil, Mushtaq Ahmed Lone, Harnam Singh Raju, Mohd Shafi Zargar, Mohd Yousuf Choudhary, Haji Abdul Ahad Shan, Nisar Ahmed Sohi, Riaz Ahmed Mir, Mohd Ashraf Naik, Ghulam Rasool Daing, Mohd Sultan Mughal and others.
