Jammu, September 24:
The Government on Friday ordered that it will recover excess amount paid to government employees and officers who were deputed for Municipal/ Panchayat poll duty in 2018.
The Drawing and Disbursing officers had paid an excess amount of Rs. 43.29 crore. That will be recovered now. All such employees and officers , including those who have retired since, too, would be liable to deposit the excess amount taken by them during the course of poll duty.
